Freedom have teamed up with Millingtons Travel the largest independent travel agency in Leicestershire who have access to the whole travel market and can either book a package holiday or tailor make your holiday to suit your individual needs. Flights can be booked from all UK airports, airport hotels and parking, car hire can also all be arranged. Millingtons Travel will co-ordinate with Freedom to ensure all your holiday and dialysis needs are taken care of leaving you only the packing to take care of.
Freedom will take care of all your dialysis booking requirements, liaising with both overseas and home dialysis units to seamlessly coordinate your holiday dialysis requirements. The holiday dialysis units have specific requirements for booking holiday dialysis, Freedom will help guide you through the process step by step taking you from the initial enquiry through to arriving for your first session. Our fee for organising all of this is just £100. This is a one off charge that covers the cost of all the administration involved and assist we provide throughout the whole booking process.
Dialysis Units
The dialysis units we use have all been screened to ensure that they use Universal Precautions while performing dialysis. We use a mix of private and public dialysis centres many of which accept the EHIC/GHIC as payment, where the EHIC/GHIC is not accepted the cost of dialysis can be upwards of £250 per session, this information is available on our Dialysis Unit List 2024
Most of the units only accept HEP B, HEP C, HIV and MRSA NEGATIVE patients although there are several units that have isolation facilities for positive patients please enquire with us.
